Lawrence Trice Jr. is a highly accomplished individual, holding degrees in Exercise & Wellness and Sociology, as well as a Master’s in Post-secondary & Higher Education. His background in both health and education underscores his deep understanding of human development, not just physically but also in personal growth and academic success. However, it’s his story as a professional sprinter that truly highlights his unwavering determination and ability to overcome adversity.

Lawrence’s athletic journey is a remarkable testament to resilience. After enduring multiple career-threatening injuries, including two torn hamstrings, a torn LCL, abdominal surgery, a groin tear, and a hernia, most athletes would have called it quits. But not Lawrence. Through sheer willpower, he fought his way back onto the track, achieving a comeback that few could imagine. Before these setbacks, he was world-ranked in the 60m and 100m sprints, and he continues to hold top 5 marks at Arizona State University as well as records at AAG Sports Academy, accomplishments that still stand today.

His influence stretches far beyond athletics. As a spokesperson for organizations such as Agape Christian, Diamonds in the Rough International, Oxygen 4 Energy, and Mir’Ra IMAGE, Lawrence has expanded his reach into public speaking and advocacy. His ability to connect with audiences, inspire through his story, and bring hope to others showcases his versatility. He’s also featured in commercials for Blue Cross and other brands, sharing his journey of overcoming adversity while emphasizing health and well-being.

Lawrence’s experiences have shaped him into more than just a competitor—they have forged him into a mentor, a leader, and a role model. Shakeia Pinnick

Shakeia Pinnick holds both her undergraduate and master’s degrees in Family & Human Development from Arizona State University. Her academic path reflects her deep commitment to helping youth, particularly adopted children like herself. Shakeia’s passion for giving back stems from her own experiences, and she is dedicated to empowering others, especially those who share similar challenges.

Athletically, Shakeia is a 4-year All-American at Arizona State University, crowned PAC-12 champion in 2013. She earned top-three finishes in the NCAA indoor and outdoor championships in the heptathlon. Shakeia holds top 10 marks in multiple events in Arizona State’s history, including the 400m hurdles. Her impressive athletic journey led her to compete in both the 2012 and 2016 Olympic trials, in the multi-events and hurdles, showcasing her elite versatility.

Her coaching career spans over 8 years, mentoring athletes from youth track to professional levels across California, Illinois, and Arizona. Shakeia has guided numerous athletes to personal bests and top state and national rankings, demonstrating her ability to shape their success. She continues this work at Mesa College, contributing to a growing NJCAA program while building athletes’ life skills and academic success.

Professionally, Shakeia competes as a 400m hurdler and sometimes a heptathlete. Her track journey began after she was adopted at age nine, running club track just a year later. Through the Aurora Flyers Track Club, she competed in numerous USA Track & Field and AAU Junior Olympic Championships, winning titles and setting records. The discipline and responsibility she learned as a child not only shaped her as an athlete but also drives her to mentor the next generation.

Outside of track, Shakeia is a motivational speaker, author, entrepreneur, and mentor. She authored the book Keeping It R.E.A.L., designed to empower and uplift others. Her experience as an adoptee taught her the importance of opportunity and blessings, and she now uses her journey to inspire others to reach their potential. Her multifaceted career and unwavering commitment to giving back ensure that she has a lasting impact on every life she touches.

Kiandre’s ability to guide and support others stems from his own experiences growing up in Los Angeles, a city known for its challenges with gang violence. Confronting adversity at a young age, Kiandre made a conscious decision to turn his life around and use his story to inspire others. His transformation from a young man surrounded by negative influences to a mentor and role model highlights his remarkable resilience. Kiandre’s upbringing has given him a unique perspective, enabling him to connect deeply with both youth and peers who may be struggling in similar environments.

His leadership and empathy have made him a trusted figure among his peers, offering invaluable insights in areas where many lacked support or guidance during their formative years.
